This series is made up of a massive number of portraits of non-existent people, painted with swift and unconscious brushstrokes, mistakes and a lot of solvent. It's composed of 65 pieces (and growing) of 30x42cm each. Each painting takes only 20 minutes mixing different techniques and materials.
As for its origin: I realized exactly how much paint I was wasting once I cleaned up; because of this I decided to use all of the clumps, bubbles and lines of color that appeared on the palette as it came in contact with the turpentine.
There's no initial plan, only instinct. It's just me with a large paintbrush against cheap paper and lots of solvent.
